Data protection is a priority for Hallon’s management. In order to access most of the services offered by Hallon, you must contact the commercial team and provide personal data, through which we obtain consent of the interested party.

The treatment of personal data such as name, address, email, telephone number and billing information of users who register will always be in accordance with the Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)policty, and in accordance with the regulations of country-specific data protection. By means of this data protection declaration, Hallon wishes to inform the general public about the nature, scope and purpose of the personal data that we collect, use and process.

Hallon’s website uses cookies. Cookies are text files that are stored on your computer through an Internet browser.

Hallon, in order to offer you a better service, may occasionally carry out hidden data processing, specifically through the use of cookies. Cookies will be valid for a maximum of three months and do not contain information that would allow anyone to contact you by phone or email. The data contained in the cookies we use solely contain codes that will be used by our systems to identify a particular session.

The user always has the possibility of configuring his browser in such a way that it limits the duration of these cookies, or in such a way that the use of cookies is prevented. This action could disable accessory features of the system.

USER GUARANTEES

The user vouches for the veracity and accuracy of the data provided. Hallon reserves the right to exclude from our services any user who has provided false data, without prejudice to other actions that may proceed by law.

Collection of data and user information

The Hallon website collects a set of general data and information. This information is stored in server log files. Among these collected data, the most important to highlight is the Internet Protocol address (IP address). This data is collected to develop a count of the visits made to any content protected by copyright. Every time a new IP address accesses a news item for the first time is detected, the address is saved in an IP address register.

Hallon guarantees that the data processed in our information systems will be protected with security, confidentiality and secrecy measures, and Hallon guarantees compliance with the the legal requirements established by current regulations, and we promise not to disclose such data to third parties without express written authorization from the user, even after the end of the contract, guaranteeing their duty of custody, adopting the necessary measures to avoid their alteration, loss, treatment or unauthorized access.

Data storage

Hallon requests and stores a series of data in the registration form provided by the commercial agent that contains the following: name, surname, email, country of residence, address, postal code, telephone number, company name (only if applies), legal name, CIF/DNI.

Hallon keeps this personal data and the IP address of the users stored in a database, in order to have the minimum information necessary to provide our services to users and to comply with copyright requirements.

This data is stored for as long as users remain as Hallon customers. The data may be deleted upon request by the customer within a week. Registered users without an active contract may have access to certain functionalities of our system, for this reason, we keep your data stored unless an explicit request is received from the user to delete it.

Hallon retains this data for the following reasons:

This data is necessary to comply with copyright requirements, which includes a fee per visit for each unique user. If necessary, we will share statistical and anonymous information with data analysis tools or organizations that are responsible for ensuring copyright for billing purposes, for personalization purposes of our products and services, such as: headers in our PDFs, search by country of origin, to show amounts in currency corresponding to the user’s country, among others.

Data Protection

Both the data that is entered into our platform as well as information about each of the transactions made by Hallon users are stored in our database servers.

Our database servers are only accessible through our internal network. These servers are protected with RSA key pairs and only authorized personnel from the Hallon technical team have access to them.

These tools will convert passwords into long character strings in such a way that they cannot be decrypted under any circumstances by any person or system (including Hallon personnel).

Confidentiality Commitment

Hallon undertakes to comply with its obligation to secrecy of personal data and its duty to treat it confidentially and assumes, for these purposes, the necessary technical, organizational and security measures to prevent its alteration, loss, treatment or unauthorized access, in accordance with the provisions of Organic Law 15/1999 of December 13, on the Protection of Personal Data, and other applicable legislation.

Subscription to newsletters

On Hallon´s website, at the time of registering through commercial contact or contracting the service, a subscription is automatically made to receive newsletters. These include information related to: promotions, changes or improvements in the system, reports of errors or breakdowns, among others.

Changes in the privacy policy

Hallon may make changes to its privacy policy with prior notice via email to our registered users.
